The Gunners may have won their last eight Premier League games in a row, but still lie ten points adrift of league leaders Chelsea - meaning manager Arsene Wenger will need more additions this summer in order to close that gap next season.
Fans will be looking for Wenger to bring in another centre back, whilst defensive midfield remains a position of concern despite Francis Coquelin's emergence this season.
The Daily Mail believe that Wenger is now considering another move to bring Geoffrey Kondogbia to the Emirates Stadium, having allegedly targeted him whilst with Sevilla.
The powerful Frenchman, 22, has a growing reputation in European football, and showed Arsenal fans what he can do earlier this season, when he smashed a long range strike past Gunners goalkeeper David Ospina in their Champions League tie - which Monaco won over two legs.
Kondogbia certainly impressed then, and the athletic midfielder would certainly add a different dimension to the Arsenal midfield - but they seemingly aren't the only side interested.
The report also notes that Liverpool are considering Kondogbia as a possible replacement for Steven Gerrard, but the expected lack of Champions League football means that Arsenal could lead the way for his signature.
