The pair were team-mates at both Standard Liege and FC Twente.

Nacer Chadli has become one of Tottenham Hotspur's more popular players this season. He has overcome almost being flogged to Swansea City to emerge as a key player for the club this season, although his form dipped slightly in the second half of the season.

But he is certainly improving since his move from FC Twente in 2013. The Belgian international who, according to the BBC, cost the club a fee in the region of £7 million has now shared a picture on his official Twitter account of him catching up with a former Twente team-mate.

USA international defender Oguchi Onyewu is currently at fellow London club Charlton Athletic, although has not featured much this season. The 69-cap USMNT star has a pretty impressive track record with former clubs. He has played for the likes of AC Milan, Sporting Lisbon and Newcastle United but he also spent a brief stint on loan at Twente in 2011, where he was team-mates with Chadli. Onyewu was also a first-team member at Standard Liege while Chadli was in their youth team back in 2005.

The American has also played for QPR and Sheffield Wednesday in English football, but has not olayed for Charlton Athletic since the 7th February and is expected to leave in the summer.
