Celtic hero John Hartson reveals what he told a Rangers fan today

The Welshman made it clear he joined the right Glasgow club in his career.

John Hartson is fondly remembered at many a club. West Ham, Wimbledon and Luton Town fans all have good memories from his time at each respective club.

But he played more games for Celtic than anybody else.

The Welsh international joined The Bhoys from Coventry City in a deal reported to be worth around £6 million by the BBC. It came just six months after he had joined Coventry and was a big risk considering his recent injury record.

But it was a move that proved a great success. Hartson went on to score 109 goals for Celtic in 201 appearances for the club. After five seasons, goals galore and six trophies he left in 2006, joining West Brom.

So there is little doubt in the fact that Hartson is something of a Celtic hero.

Today he highlighted that fact with an amusing post on Twitter.

He shares this snap of him meeting a Rangers fan, to whom he made it clear he had no regrets over which Glasgow team he played for.

Once a Bhoy, always a Bhoy.
