One of Manchester United's forwards has highlighted the key skills of three others.
Manchester United striker James Wilson has been speaking to the cub’s official magazine about his fellow front-men at Old Trafford.
In comments later published by United’s website, the 19-year-old opened up on what key skills he would take from the club’s three senior strikers if he could.
Wilson has played 16 matches for United this season, scoring two goals in that time, and while big things are expected from the teenager he clearly rates Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao very highly.
Speaking about the trio’s skills, Wilson said he would take Rooney’s ability from free-kicks, van Persie’s movement and Falcao’s instincts.
“I would have to take Radamel’s instincts because anything in the box drops to him – he is always in the right place.”
That may be the case in training, but the Colombian international has struggled to replicate his best form since arriving on loan from AS Monaco.
In fact, both Falcao and van Persie have been far from their best and Wilson will know he has a great chance to stake a claim to become a regular starter from next season alongside Rooney.
That said, it would be no surprise if United strengthened their forward-line, but whatever happens, expect Wilson to become a future great at the club. He certainly has the innate talent to do just that.
