Manchester United round-up: Jurgen Klopp allegedly dreams of Old Trafford move; Fellaini confusion

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United

According to a report from the Sun, Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp dreams of one day taking over at Manchester United.

The claims come from a source who says Klopp has long admired the Old Trafford club and hopes to one day follow in the footsteps of the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson and Louis van Gaal.

The problem is the Dutchman currently occupies the hot-seat and there is no reason for him to leave just yet, with his current side beginning to show what they can under his stewardship.

Further down the line, who knows? But next season Klopp is highly unlikely to be at United, despite the news that he will be leaving the Bundesliga side in the summer.

In other news, the London Evening Standard reports that Jose Mourinho was left confused as to whether Marouane Fellaini would play against his side when the Belgian international’s brother turned up at the Blues’ team hotel.

Speaking to reporters, Mourinho said, “I came down in the morning and the doorman said, ‘Fellaini isn’t playing’.”

But a quick Google search showed that it was in fact the United midfielder’s brother who had come requesting tickets from Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
