Lord Sugar predicts Arsenal v Aston Villa FA Cup final

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has backed Arsenal to defeat Aston Villa in the FA Cup final at London’s Wembley Stadium in May.

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has predicted on social networking site Twitter that Arsenal will win the FA Cup this season.

The 68-year-old made his prediction following Liverpool’s defeat to Aston Villa in the semi-finals of the prestigious club competition on Sunday.

Could Lord Sugar’s prediction come true?

As things stand, Arsenal will head into the final in May as favourites. Not only do the Gunners have a better team, but they also have the momentum.

However, this is a cup game and anything is possible. After all, on Sunday, Liverpool were the favourites, but it was Villa who won - and won deservedly.

With the Villans likely to retain their Premier League status for next season, one suspects that manager Tim Sherwood will make sure that his players are ready for the final.

If Villa play with the same energy and determination as they did against Liverpool on Sunday, then they will certainly stand a good chance of winning the FA Cup final at the expense of Arsenal.
