According to a report from the Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur are set to reignite their interest in FC Porto striker Jackson Martinez this summer.
The Colombia international is enjoying a wonderful spell in Portugal, scoring 27 goals in 36 appearances this season, making it 87 goals since he signed for the Primeira Liga club.
In his club career to date, Jackson has scored 144 goals and that record is likely to have attracted the great and the good of the game to his undeniable talents.
Tottenham have seen the emergence of Harry Kane this season but the England international cannot do everything on his own and it would be no surprise if manager Mauricio Pochettino strengthened his forward-line in the summer.
The latest report claims Tottenham are preparing to sell both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado to free up the funds necessary to move for Jackson, even claiming one of the players could be offered to Porto in a part-exchange deal.
It remains to be seen if the Portuguese club would accept that but whatever happens, there is no doubt Jackson has the talent to succeed at White Hart Lane.
