According to a report in the Sun, Arsenal are interested in signing Birmingham City youngster Demarai Gray.
The 18-year-old left-winger has made 48 appearances for the Championship side to date, including 39 this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in that time.
That is a fine record for one so young and he is rated as one of the most exciting young players currently in the second tier.
As a result it is no surprise that Arsenal have been linked with him, with the Gunners previously moving for talented young English players such as Calum Chambers, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Gray is an England under-19 international and with his current contract soon to expire it seems he could be heading for pastures new in due course.
Arsenal are a club who pride themselves on blooding young talent but they are unlikely to be the only side interested in Gray, meaning there could be an interesting battle for his services in the months ahead.
