The Merseyside outfit went down 2-1 to Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Brazil international playmaker Philippe Coutinho put Liverpool in the lead on the half-hour mark, but Christian Benteke restored parity in the 36th minute and Fabian Delph scored what proved to be the winning goal in the opening minutes of the second half.
The defeat has ended the Reds’ chances of winning any major trophy this season, and Henry was disappointed to see Brendan Rodgers’s side fail to progress to the final of the FA Cup.

The former Manchester City star also posted his thoughts on social media and urged the fans to maintain their faith in the players.
