Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Steve Morison against Charlton Athletic yesterday.
Morison has struggled for playing time this season and is not rated highly by the Leeds supporters.
However, on Saturday, the Welshman scored the only goal for the Whites in their 2-1 defeat to Charlton Athletic away from home at The Valley in the Championship.
As a matter of fact, it was the opening goal of the encounter. The 31-year-old Morison found the target with a volley from 12 yards after connecting with Luke Murphy’s corner.
It was the first goal scored this season by the former Norwich City striker, who ended the game with 50% pass accuracy, two chances created, put in two crosses, won 67% of the headers, and made one clearance and two blocks.
Leeds are currently 16th in the Championship table with 52 points from 44 matches and look set to miss out on a top-10 finish this season.
Following the match, Leeds fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Morison.

Yesterday Morison showed what we've been lacking all season - instinctive finishing... Oh the irony! #lufc— 1919. (@WeAreLeeds1919) April 19, 2015

If I'd had the foresight to stick £100 on Steve Morison scoring & Stuart Taylor playing I could've bought the club with the winnings. #lufc— LUFC Tommy D (@tdski_LUFC) April 18, 2015
Well, we lost, but we drank in the sunshine and witnessed Steve Morison's peach of a strike. And I never thought I'd be saying that. #lufc— Michael (@MichaelS88444) April 18, 2015
