To be played on Sunday 19th April 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Wembley, London
Odds: Aston Villa 11/2, Draw 16/5, Liverpool 5/8
Aston Villa and Liverpool lock horns at Wembley Stadium this afternoon, with a place in the FA Cup final on the line.
Villa qualified for the semi-finals after an impressive 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the last round, and their form under Tim Sherwood means this will be a tougher game than Liverpool may have expected.
In-form striker Christian Benteke hit the winning goal as Sherwood went back to former club Tottenham last weekend and clinched a 1-0 victory, and he will be relying heavily on the Belgian once again as they seek a surprise FA Cup final appearance.
Meanwhile, Liverpool had to go through a replay against Blackburn in the last round, but are now just one game from Wembley in Steven Gerrard's final few weeks as a Liverpool player.
With the Reds' inspirational skipper set to leave this summer to join MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy, they will be keen to give him the best send off possible by winning the FA Cup once again.
Daniel Sturridge will miss out through injury again, but with Philippe Coutinho enjoying a real purple patch, Brendan Rodgers still has enough attacking talent at his disposal to win the game.
