The Gunners prepare for Saturday evening’s FA Cup semi-final against Reading at Wembley while also keeping one eye on events in the league.
Wenger’s team would have the chance to close Chelsea’s advantage to four points when the two sides clash at Emirates Stadium a week on Sunday should Manchester United win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Ramsey says the door is still open to Arsenal ending the season in sensational style.
“When you have that momentum, it is still possible,” said Ramsey in an interview with the Daily Telegraph. “Chelsea have still got a lot of points, they will have to slip up a few times for us to catch them. It will be difficult but it’s still possible.”
Arsenal have won eight consecutive league matches amid a growing conviction that they could challenge even stronger for the title next season. Since losing at Southampton on New Year's Day, the Gunners have taken 33 points out of a possible 36 as well as defeating Hull City, Brighton, Middlesbrough and Manchester United en route to the last four of the FA Cup.
Asked if the Premier League title is getting closer for a team who have not finished in the top two for a decade, Ramsey said: “I think so,” he said. “I think after we did win the FA Cup, that sort of feeling you got, everyone realised we want more of this. I feel we are very close.”
