As per the table provided by Opta Stats, the 28-year-old has outshone his rivals in terms of goals scored, shots on target and chances created per Premier League encounter since 1 March.
The former Montpellier man is currently in the midst of the best run of form of his career, and his goals have prompted many to speculate as to whether his side can catch Chelsea at the top of the table.
For so long it appeared as though the Blues and Manchester City would challenge until the very end, but Aguero’s so-called barren run and City’s dreadful form has allowed the Gunners to surge above them in the table.
As far as the top goal scorer table goes, despite Giroud's best efforts of late he appears destined to finished behind his rivals as Costa, Aguero and Kane all share top spot with 19 goals apiece.
