AC Milan currently have two players who have held great hopes for the future for Premier League teams. The Rossoneri, who are currently going through a painful transitional period, have former Liverpool youngster Suso and Chelsea loanee Marco van Ginkel in their ranks.
The latter arrived at Chelsea in the summer of 2013 from Vitesse Arnhem. Unfortunately the Dutch international picked up a serious knee injury soon after arriving and was out for the majority of last season. This term, to get regular football, he was loaned to Milan - where he has again struggled for fitness.
Suso on the other hand left Liverpool permanently in January. The former Cadiz youngster was a top prospect at Anfield, but things went sour in the past 12 months and he will be hoping to push on at Milan.
Yesterday, he revealed in a Q&A with the AC Milan official Twitter account, the nickname he and Suso currently have among the Milan regulars.
It would appear that the two English speakers, who are good friends at Milan, remind the Italians at the club of cartoon enemies Tom and Jerry:
Can't really see the resemblance, but who are we to argue.
