The club have closed in on Preston North End again after thrashing the relegation threatened O's 6-1 at Stadium:MK.

The icing of the cake came from the fantastic young midfielder Dele Alli.

The England youth international curled in a fantastic strike to score the sixth goal of a romping victory, and he charged away in celebration.

Alli was continuing his fantastic form, which has Tottenham fans excited.

It was a second goal in as many games for the midfield dynamo, who will be playing for Spurs next season.

Tottenham Hotspur completed an excellent piece of business when they agreed a deal to sign Dele Alli in the winter. According to the BBC the club agreed to pay £5 million for the 19-year-old, sending him back to Milton Keynes on loan for the rest of the season as part of the deal.

He has been nominated for the League One player of the Year award this season, and Tottenham fans will be hoping to see plenty of Alli celebrations next season.
