Nir Bitton has revealed on social networking site Twitter that he could not turn down the chance to join Celtic in the summer of 2013.
The defensive midfielder made the comments earlier this week in a ‘Question and Answer’ session on the club’s official Twitter page.
Bitton moved to Celtic from Israeli Premier League club FC Ashdod in the summer of 2013 and has established himself as a key player for the Bhoys.
The 23-year-old joined the Scottish Premiership giants when you was quite young, and his aforementioned comments demonstrate just big and attractive Celtic really are to players.
The Glasgow outfit may not be competing in the Champions League week in and week out, they do not have superstar names, and the league they play in is not considered one of the best in Europe - but the history and tradition of Celtic seems to be enough to pull talented young players to the club.
Celtic are the biggest club of Scotland and are on course to winning the domestic treble this season.
