Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton has revealed on social networking site Twitter that he would love to sign Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 23-year-old made the comments earlier this week in response to a fan’s question in a ‘Question and Answer’ session on Celtic's official Twitter page.
One suspects that it is unlikely that Ronaldo will move to Celtic anytime soon, but Bitton is probably not the only footballer in the world who would want to play alongside the Portugal international.
The former Manchester United ace is one of the top two players in the world and has been in superb form since his move to Madrid in the summer of 2009.
The 30-year-old has been brilliant for the Spanish giants this season as well, scoring 38 goals and creating 60 chances in 28 La Liga appearances.
Ronaldo has also found the target eight times and created nine chances in nine Champions League matches this campaign, as Madrid remain on course to win two major trophies.
