John Hughes’s comments demonstrate just how determined Inverness Caledonian Thistle are to win against Celtic

Inverness Caledonian Thistle will face Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow tomorrow.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager John Hughes has spoken of his side’s determination to win against Celtic tomorrow to Sky Sports.

Caley Thistle will take on their Scottish Premiership rivals in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

“We will be working overtime tactically to try to come up with a shape and system to play against them,” Hughes told Sky Sports.

Inverness and Celtic faced each other in the Premiership earlier this month. On that occasion, the game was at the Caledonian Stadium in Inverness, and it ended in a 1-1 draw.

Just like then, Celtic will head into tomorrow’s match as favourites, but it seems that Inverness are not going to make it easy for them.

Hughes’s comments about the players working overtime and trying to get their tactics right suggest that the Jags are determined to progress to the final at the expense of the Bhoys.

Celtic have the best team in Scotland, but they have shown that they can be beaten from time to time.

For Inverness to defeat Ronny Deila’s side tomorrow, the players will need to be at their very best against the Premiership leaders.
