Chelsea star Oscar urges club to sign Manchester United target Felipe Anderson

The Brazilian has been in stunning form for Lazio.

Brazilian star Felipe Anderson has been one of the breakthrough performers in Serie A this season. The Lazio attacking midfielder arrived in Rome from Santos back in 2013, but this season has truly showed his mercurial talent.

That saw him linked with Manchester United as recently as a week ago. The Daily Mail said that United were watching the player after his excellent form so far this season.

But now, a Chelsea player has hinted that his club should make a move for the attacker. Oscar, whose own future at Chelsea was recently called into question, is quoted by the Mirror as stating:

“He could really be useful here.

“We’ve played together at U20 level for Brazil and he was amazing. He can become even better and great players are always welcome at Chelsea.”

The only sticking point to Oscar's plea is that a move for Anderson could be the death knell for his own Chelsea career.

Anderson has been tremendous this campaign, scoring 11 goals in 27 games, all of those goals coming in the last 16 games he has played for the Serie A side.

As yet he does not have a senior cap for the Brazilian national team, but were Chelsea to move for him that would certainly soon change.

As for Oscar, he should be more careful what he wishes for.
