Aston Villa youngster Callum Robinson has told the Lancashire Evening Post that he hopes Jack Grealish starts against Liverpool.
Robinson, 20, has come up through the ranks at Villa, and whilst he made five appearances in the Premier League last season, he's spent the majority of the campaign on loan at Preston.
The England Under-20 international forward has hit seven goals in 24 appearances for the Lilywhites this season, joining the club on two separate loan deals this term.
Robinson is still expected to have a big future at Villa when he returns to the club this summer, and has now looked ahead to this weekend's game against Liverpool.
Villa face Liverpool at Wembley this weekend in the FA Cup semi-final, with Tim Sherwood looking to remarkably land some silverware already.
Ahead of that game, Robinson has told the Lancashire Evening Post that former youth team mate Jack Grealish should be handed a start against the Reds having recently been in the side.
"Hopefully my good friend Jack Grealish will get a start in the Villa team," said Robinson. "Jack has started the last two games, so there might be the opportunity to play in this one. Last season, he was out on loan at Notts County in this division and showed what a quality player he is."
Grealish, 19, is one of the most highly-rated prospects at Villa, and has started the last two games under Tim Sherwood, emerging in the starting line-up having been given few opportunities under Paul Lambert.
Villa fans will be keen to watch the exciting winger in action once again, whilst the exploits of Robinson will give supporters hope of a bright future ahead at Villa Park.
