Jay Rodriguez

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has ruled out the possibility of selling Jay Rodriguez in London24.

The striker has been linked with a move to Tottenham by the website, but the Saints boss seems keen to protect his front man.

He’s back in training following a long spell out of action with a knee problem.

“Of course I expect we don’t sell the player. The player didn’t play in my first season as a manager,” said Koeman.

The Haringey Independent has reported that Tottenham are considering minor changes to plans for their new stadium.

Tottenham recently cleared the final obstacle to the development of their new ground at White Hart Lane with the acquisition of a local business.

The paper reports that the club wants to tweak plans for changing rooms, parking and media facilities.

FIFA.com has reported that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award.

Kane has been in great form throughout this season and is currently the leading goalscorer at the club across all competitions.

He stands a great chance of winning the award ahead of some other talented players who have been nominated.
