The Bhoys are on course to winning an historic treble in Deila’s first season in charge of the Scottish giants.
“I think there has been a very good atmosphere here for a long, long time and it is getting better and better,” Deila told The Scottish Sun. “People loosen up more when we know each other better and we are having a lot of fun here.
“One of the most important things needed to create and get better is to laugh a lot and enjoy life and I think that is something the players are doing. The togetherness is very good.”
Celtic are in a great run of form at the moment, and it is little surprise that the players are enjoying themselves.
Although competition for places in the team is fierce, it is healthy and seems to be spurring the players on.
Of course, Celtic need to be serious and make sure that they do not slip up in the final weeks of the season, but as things are going at the moment, they do appear to be on their way to success.
Deila himself comes across as a jovial man who speaks straight, and it seems that the players are following in his footsteps.
Celtic will take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
