Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to tonight’s victory for his side in the Championship.
Actor Karaoke’s side maintained their march towards automatic promotion to the Premier League with victory over Norwich City away from home.
Alex Tettey’s own goal in the eighth minute proved to be the difference between the two sides at Carrow Road.
Over the course of 90 minutes, Boro had just 31% of the possession, took nine shots of which only three were on target, and earned seven corners.
In contrast, hosts Norwich had 69% of the possession, took 20 shots of which just two were on target, and earned 14 corners.
Chelsea-owned 21-year-old forward Bamford started the game and played for 85 minutes, and he was delighted with Boro’s win against Norwich away from home.

The result means that Middlesbrough are now at the top of the Championship table with 84 points from 44 matches, a point clear of Bournemouth, who take on Sheffield Wednesday at home on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Norwich have now slipped down to fourth in the league standings with 82 points from 44 games.
