Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has recommended one of their star players as a top potential signing for Bayern Munich.
Quoted by German channel Sport1, the retired midfielder believes both Raheem Sterling would be a good fit for the club as would Chelsea's Eden Hazard.
He said: "They must make some time thinking in this direction (attack), the guys are not getting any younger.
"Raheem Sterling from Liverpool I could imagine on the right, Eden Hazard from Chelsea is on the left is currently the best in Europe."
The two current regulars on Bayern's wings are Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery. Neither are Pep Guardiola signings nor even Jupp Heynckes, both bought by Louis van Gaal more than five years ago, helping the side reach the 2010 Champions League final.
With Bayern slipping to a 3-1 first leg quarter-final loss to FC Porto in the Champions League this week, there is suddenly talk about a need to change things around.
Hamann recommended two Bundesliga based wingers, Marco Reus and Patrick Hermann, but both have signed new contracts to stay with Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Moenchengladbach respectively just in 2015.
Chelsea's Eden Hazard has also recently renewed his contract with Chelsea, but Liverpool's Raheem Sterling on the other hand is refusing to re-negotiate a new deal at Liverpool until at least the end of the season.
