Watford’s Heurelho Gomes reacts on Twitter to win against Nottingham Forest

Watford defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1 at the City Ground in the Championship on Wednesday.

Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his side’s victory over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

The Hornets made it three wins out of three in the Championship, as they got the better of Forest 3-1 away from home at the City Ground.

Odion Ighalo's fourth-minute header and a Matthew Connolly strike put Watford 2-0 ahead, before Forest’s Kelvin Wilson was sent off.

Gary Gardner's free kick in the 72nd minute saw the Reds halve the deficit, but Almen Abdi's low drive on 87 minutes secured all three points.

The win against Forest has lifted Watford up to third in the Championship table with 82 points from 43 matches, level on points with second-placed Norwich City and just a point behind leaders Bournemouth.

Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Gomes is delighted with the victory and made the following post on Twitter earlier this morning:

Watford are back in Championship action on Saturday, when they host Birmingham City at Vicarage Road.
