Former Blackburn Rovers striker Nikola Kalinic has confirmed Tottenham linked Yevhen Konoplyanka is eyeing a summer move.
Nikola Kalinic has told Goal that he considers Dnipro winger and teammate Yevhen Konoplyanka likely to move on this summer but has not given up hope.
Former Blackburn Rovers striker Kalinic is under no illusions about the winger's desire for a new challenge, nor his importance to the Europa League quarter finalists.
He said: "He is 40 per cent of our team! He is a top player, he could play in any European club.
“He wants to try his luck in a bigger league, that’s why he didn't extend his contract that expires this summer. But, who knows, maybe Dnipro will offer him something he will not refuse, or we will make some big result and he will decide to stay."
25-year-old Konoplyanka would be a bargain addition for any team this summer, and Spanish newspaper EstadioDeportivo reported earlier this week that Sevilla were the latest side to show an interest.
The winger has scored seven times and scored six goals this season for Dnipro. The Ukrainian side face Belgians Club Brugge in the last eight of the Europa League.
Konoplyanka almost signed for Liverpool last season, with the Reds leaving their negotiations too late, as reported by The BBC.
