The second double helping of free Xbox Games with Gold now available

Assassins Creed IV Black Flag leap of faith 1

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel are the next two games up for free download on Xbox 360.

It's the 16th day of the month, which means Xbox owners can download the next set of free games for April.

The April Games with Gold offerings are particularly special as there are double the games available. Usually Xbox 360 owners get two a month, and Xbox One owners can pick up one extra game, along with the previous month's.

From 1st April to 15th Xbox 360 owners could pick up Terraria and Gears of War: Judgement, so if you didn't get yours, too bad, you missed out. But, today Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel are up for grabs, so make sure you get your free copies.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag takes players back to the early 18th century, in the Caribbean, where you'll captain ships and do all manner of pirate activities. Check out the trailer below, as if you need any more convincing to download a free game.

I've never played Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, so I can't really speak about how good or bad it is. It didn't appear to do very well review-wise, but hey, it's a free game, so make your own mind up once you download it. Again, there's a trailer for you below.

There's nothing new for Xbox One owners today, although you should check out this month's free games before April ends. You can download previous free games - #IDARB and Rayman Legends - along with April's Pool Nation FX and Child of Light.
