The Tottenham supremo did well out of last season at Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur had a fairly disappointing season last campaign.
They finished outside the top four and made little impact in the cup competitions. On top of that there was the long list of botched signings from Daniel Levy appointment Franco Baldini.
Erik Lamela, Vlad Chiriches, Paulinho, Etienne Capoue and Roberto Soldado all proved to be fairly expensive and over-rated arrivals at White Hart Lane.
Add to that the Tim Sherwood debacle and frankly, nobody in the Tottenham board room deserved a pay-rise.
You can see where this is going.
The London Evening Standard has today reported that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy recieved a whopping £500,000 pay-rise last season.
The accounts for the 2013-14 season show a 30% increase in his take home from the company.
Tottenham fans will rightly be wondering what exactly he did to deserve that.
This season has been slightly better. Spurs made the League Cup final. However they will again finish trophyless come the end of the campaign and, this time next year, be in no doubt - Levy will probably have another pay-rise in his coffers.
