It has been reported that the Italian giants want to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure in the summer transfer, but they have an eye on Song as an alternative.

The Serie A outfit are reportedly also monitoring Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, should they be unable to land Ivory Coast international Toure.

Song joined West Ham on loan from Spanish club Barcelona in the summer of 2014 and has been an important player for the London outfit.

Although the Cameroon international midfielder’s form has dipped in the second half of the season, he was a star player in the opening months.

Song has won 60 of the 162 tackles he has tried and 35 of the 53 dribbles he has attempted.
