Froch was born in Colwick, Nottingham and is a die hard fan of The Reds.
One of his dreams is to fight at Nottingham Forest's City Ground. In March he spoke to the Daily Mail about wanting to unify the world super-middleweight title at the home of his boyhood heroes in a marquee fight against Andre Ward. Whether it is Ward, or not, Froch is still likely to want a fight at the ground before he retires. At 37-years-old he will need to do it soon.
He is not the only one who wants to see Froch fight at The City Ground.
Nottingham Forest loanee Gary Gardner has Tweeted about the boxer earlier today.
It would certainly be a sight most boxing fans and Forest fans would like to see.
But Forest fans are probably busier wondering if they will see Gardner at the City Ground next year. He is currently only on loan at the club from Aston Villa and has been in great form this season.
A Froch and Gardner double at the City Ground would make for a great 2015.
