The Brighton and Hove Albion loanee looks set for an extended spell on the sidelines this summer.
Liverpool loanee has been cut down in a great run of form by what appears to be a rather nasty knee injury.
The Portuguese youngster went down in agony against Huddersfield Town for his loan side Brighton and Hove Albion.
The injury could be a real blow for one of Liverpool's brightest sparks. Now one of the Liverpool first-team players has offered his sympathy to the lad for his injury.
Jose Enrique, who knows a thing or two about being on the sidelines, sent this message to Teixeira on Twitter earlier today:
Que te mejores pronto amigo. Ya sabes que lo que necesites :) #joaoteixeira pic.twitter.com/5xvRkFmXCw

It is a massive blow for Teixeira. In recent weeks it was reported he had done enough to earn a first-team chance next season. The Liverpool Echo reported last month that Brendan Rodgers was ready to give him a go, but that will now have to wait.
The 22-year-old joined Liverpool from Sporting Lisbon in 2012 and is regarded as one of their top talents. He previously had a spell on loan at Brentford but has been impressive this season at Brighton in what has been a relegation battle. His new battle however will be the battle to a return to full fitness.
