The Gunners will face Championship outfit Reading in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
“You know the FA Cup, you don’t know what to expect - any team is ready for it and it is always a tough game at any stage,” Coquelin told Arsenal’s official website.
“A semi-final at Wembley will be even tougher. We need to be ready and start on the front foot. Hopefully we can do that and win the game.”
Arsenal will head into the encounter as favourites, but they need to make sure that they do not concede an early goal.
Although Reading do not have the quality of players that the Gunners do, collectively the Royals will be strong and determined to stage an upset at Wembley.
Arsene Wenger’s side have staged comebacks before, but they cannot afford to take it easy in the opening minutes of the FA Cup encounter.
Arsenal need to impose their game on Reading right from the start and make it clear that they mean business.
The North London outfit will head into the encounter on the back of a 1-0 victory over Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League.
