Players from Eintracht Frankfurt, Hannover and Bayer Leverkusen all feature.
With the summer fast approaching the chequebooks are at the ready as Premier League teams prepare themselves for another season.
The transfer market will again be fierce and once again the Bundesliga will be a popular venue for potential buyers.
But who should Aston Villa target from German football?
Here are three options…
Bastian Oczipka - Eintracht Frankfurt
Villa seriously need to address their left-back situation. The club currently have nobody good enough to play the position on a regular basis.
This man would be just that.
The German left-back is similar in style to Leighton Baines, so expect plenty of attacking gusto, and would be perfect for Tim Sherwood's attacking philosophy.
Edgar Prib - Hannover 96
Villa could also do with strengthening the centre of their midfield. With Tom Cleverley's loan deal coming to an end in the summer it will be interesting to see who they bring in.
Prib is certainly an option. Versatile, energetic and technically sound, he would be a great addition to any team.
Josip Drmic - Bayer Leverkusen
Another striker at Villa would not go amiss. This Swiss finisher has had a tough time at his new club Bayer this term but is a top talent who would perfectly compliment Christian Benteke.
