The five worst haircuts in football: Tottenham, West Ham legends feature

There have been a wealth of dreadful haircuts in the history of football.

Whilst seen as idols to the public and occasional fashion models to the more vain members of the public, football has certainly seen its share of questionable hair decisions.

From Rudi Voller’s curly mullet that was so famous in the 1990’s, through to any number of David Beckham’s various attempts at redefining his style, the modern has reached a pinnacle of ever-changing looks.

And many of them are disastrous.

It just cannot be the average players who try the obscene hairstyles, with the most outlandish attempts always worn by those players who are just so good.

There is no chance that said player will fall into obscurity, and it could be said that their haircut is the reason they stay so firmly attached to the public eye.

An obscene haircut generally brings infamy over general fame, and from the mohican to cornrows - covering all sort of mullet in between - we take a look at five of the worst to have graced the shores of England.

Chris Waddle - Tottenham Hotspur
