The Ghanaian international is available on a Bosman this summer.
Celtic will be looking to add to their centre-back department this summer. They are set to lose Jason Denayer to Manchester City after his loan spell comes to an end. There are also fears over the future of Virgil van Dijk.
Now it is reported that a Ghanaian international is on the wanted list for Ronny Deila.
The 24-year-old would represent an excellent acquisition for the Scottish champions, and a very cheap one.
He is actually out of contract in the summer, meaning Celtic could have him for absolutely nothing. Considering he is an international with proven pedigree in Ligue 1, that is a fairly good deal.
Mensah has been with Evian for four years. He joined the club from Italian side Udinese back in 2011. He is a regular in the Ghana national set-up and already has 27 caps for his nation.
Celtic fans will certainly be hoping to bring in a player of Mensah's calibre to help plug the gap at the heart of defence this summer.
