Newcastle United are taking on Derby County this evening at St James Park, at under-21 international.
The game, which kicks off at 7pm, gives the young players at Newcastle a chance to shine at the home ground of the club's first-team.
For one player it will be an appearance at St James Park that he will hope leads to many more.
Newcastle United snapped up Dutch international Siem De Jong in the summer, a fantastic purchase that looked like being an excellent coup.
He reportedly cost the club £6 million, according to the Daily Mail, which looked a bargain for the attacking midfielder turned striker.
However it has not quite gone to plan for the 26-year-old since his arrival at the club.
He suffered a torn groin muscle in September and had was ruled out until the New Year. Then things went wrong again.
He suffered a collapsed lung earlier in the year and underwent surgery to remedy a problem he has suffered before whilst at Ajax two years ago.
It will be the first game on his comeback trail and first since his August appearance against Crystal Palace. He will be hoping to play for the first-team again before the end of the season.
