The midfielder will become a fully fledged Spurs man in the summer.
MK Dons striker Will Grigg has been singing the praises of Tottenham loanee Dele Alli today, after the youngster scored in an important 3-0 win over Fleetwood Town. Alli assisted Lewis Baker, on loan from Chelsea, for the opening goal and then smashed in a half-volley of his own later on.
Grigg, who scored the other goal, is also on loan to the club from Brentford. But in his spell back in Milton Keynes he has certainly seen enough of Alli to know how good he is.
"It makes my job a hell of a lot easier and without runners past me it's a hard job . With the quality they've got I know I'll be getting chances in every game.
"I think Dele was a bit disappointed not to score in the first half but it sums him that he scored the harder one.
"He's got unbelievable ability and it's a great finish."
Tottenham Hotspur snapped up Alli from The Dons for a fee reported by the BBC to have been in the £5 million region. They then sent him back on loan to the Stadium:MK until the end of the current campaign.
The teenager has been impressive this term as he continues his development, his goal last night taking his tally to 15 goals in 39 appearances.
He has recently returned from a two month injury absence but picked up where he left off, so it seems Tottenham have nothing to worry about on that front.
Exciting times now lay ahead both at MK Dons, who are now guaranteed a play-off spot, and White Hart Lane.
