Freddie Sears' rejuvenation at Ipswich Town continues, with the striker finding the back of the net once again for the club last night.
He scored an eighth minute opener to set Mick McCarthy's side on their way to a 3-1 home win over Cardiff City.
The former West Ham trainee signed for the Tractor Boys in January from Colchester United, and has now scored eight goals in 18 games for the club.
He has helped keep Ipswich's promotion charge on track, with the club currently in sixth place - the final play-off spot - now three points clear of the chasing pack.
Being able to clinch a Premier League return would be a dream for the 25-year-old striker, who began the campaign in League One, where he scored 10 goals earlier in the season.
Sears broke through and made his name with West Ham as a teenager but his career stalled and he was left with few options other than to drop down the divisions.
His performance had Ipswich Town fans buzzing, here is a look at how they reacted via Twitter...
The way Freddie Sears has come in and started scoring reminds me exactly of Marcus Stewart back in 2000, what a signing he's been #itfc— Rob Washford (@RobWashford) April 14, 2015
I'm slightly obsessed with Freddie Sears, brilliant footballer! #itfc— Adam Newson (@super_noose) April 14, 2015
