West Ham United fans have urged the club to do everything in their power to convince Jurgen Klopp to move to the Boleyn Ground.
Klopp announced at a press conference earlier today, as covered by the BBC, that he will be stepping down as Borussia Dortmund manager at the end of the season, and West Ham supporters want them to be the next club he takes control of.
The Daily Mail made the suggestion that West Ham should go for Klopp if Sam Allardyce departs, and followers of the London outfit appear to have bought into the idea, even if the German does look to be an ambitious target.
Allardyce's contract expires at the end of the campaign and the Hammers are said to be weighing up their options, before even contemplating offering the 60-year-old a new deal.
Klopp would certainly be an upgrade and his impending departure from Dortmund has left West Ham fans dreaming.
The arrival of Klopp would be a statement of intent from the Hammers, as they look to increase excitement around the club before their upcoming move to the Olympic Stadium.
If Klopp did arrive at West Ham it seems that he would have the backing of the club's supporters from the off, and many have urged David Gold to enquire as to his availability on social media site Twitter today.
