Ante Coric will not be on his way to Everton this summer.

Everton have reportedly been eyeing up talented Croatian Ante Coric in recent weeks. Last month it was reported that Everton, along with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, were looking to snap up the player. The report, from Vecernji List, claimed Everton were willing to pay a €5 million fee to sign the teenager.

Coric, who turned 18-years-old this week, has previously been on the youth books at Red Bull Salzburg before joining up with Dinamo in 2013.

Now Everton were hoping to lure him away from the comfort of home. But that will not be happening.

The club have confirmed that Coric has signed a new deal at the club, surely ruling out any summer move to Goodison Park.

The deal will run until 2020, so it is certainly a long-term deal, which would indicate he is more than happy where he is.

Coric has found himself compared to Croatian icons such as Luka Modric and Zvonimir Boban, and is just one of the many young prospects to emerge from the ranks at Dinamo, much like Modric did.

But unlike Modric, he is not set for a Premier League switch ... yet.
