The Southampton youngster is currently on loan at Wednesday until the end of the season, but it seems he could be open to a second spell at the club.
Isgrove says that he has enjoyed his time at Wednesday so far and he feels the first-team football that he is receiving will be invaluable to his development.
“I have enjoyed my time here so I don’t see why not," he said, when asked if he'd be willing to stay at Wednesday. "I will have to see what happens in pre-season. I’m sure if Wednesday do want me again it would be a good option."
The news that Isgrove could be open to another loan move should go down well with Owls boss Stuart Gray, who has stated his intention to sign the 22-year-old in the Sheffield Star.
“He’s a credit to Southampton," Gray said. If we can get him back here, it would be great but he’s Southampton’s player.”
At the moment it is unknown whether Southampton would be open to allowing Isgrove to re-join Wednesday, but with expectations rising at St. Mary's they may be willing.
The rapid winger appears to have little chance of breaking into the first-team at Southampton and a player of his age needs to get regular competitive action.
Wednesday can offer that, and they could well be in a battle for promotion next season, with the club likely to be active in the summer transfer window.
