AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has been talking up Suso as the Spaniard settles into life at the club.
Quoted by Tuttomercatoweb, Galliani believes the former Liverpool youngster is a special player who can be a key figure at Milan for years to come.
He said: "He is a major talent, has already good experience in his career. In training I see him do great things and we hope he continues like this."
The 21-year-old has had a slow beginning to life at AC Milan, so Galliani's words will come as a major confidence boost.
He has made only two substitute appearances for the club since signing in January, leaving Liverpool after a frustrating time at the Reds.
He suffered an injury early in the season just as he began to start getting first team opportunities under Brendan Rodgers.
AC Milan have had another season below their once high standards, currently in eighth position in Serie A, a total of 28 points behind league leaders Juventus.
They are crying out for a hero to take them forward in the way great players like Kaka and Rui Costa once did, and Suso has a great opportunity over the coming seasons to step up and try and establish himself as a key player in a way he was not afforded a chance to do so at Liverpool.
