The Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper has taken to social media to showcase Charles N’Zogbia’s latest rather dodgy looking outfit.
Have you ever had one of those recurring nightmares in which you arrive at work, only to discover you are still wearing your pyjamas?
Well, it would appear that Aston Villa midfielder Charles N’Zogbia is currently living out that common night terror for real, if the latest images of the Frenchman are to be believed.
What other reason can there be for the 28-year-old's latest, rather odd looking, outfit as showcased by his Villa teammate Shay Given on Twitter?
Sporting a floral looking shirt and trousers combo, the midfielder’s new garb appears to have been inspired by the kind of curtains found in houses belonging to elderly relatives up and down the country.
Having played just 16 times for Villa in the Premier League as part of a rather underwhelming campaign, it seems that N’Zogbia has not only lost the form that made him a revelation at Newcastle and Wigan but also anything in the way of a reflective surface around his current home to see how he looks.
All joking aside, of course, the Frenchman is not the first footballer to deliver a horrendous fashion faux-pas, with the Premier League littered with talented players possessing an eye for goal but certainly not an eye for what constitutes stylish clothing.
Given certainly appears horrified at what he has captured, adding the rather appropriate hashtag of “#WorstEver” to his latest Tweet on the subject.
But where does N’Zogbia’s outfit rank in the list of all-time awful footballer outfits?
