Jonny Howson showed his class on Tuesday night as he acknowledged Leeds United's fans after scoring against the Yorkshire outfit during their midweek Championship clash.
Howson netted against the side he spent several years at for Norwich City, the club he joined from Leeds in 2012, with his goal helping the visitors to a 2-0 win that keeps their automatic promotion push going strong.
But the 26-year-old showed his feelings for Leeds are still positive, displaying respect and affection for the Elland Road faithful by acknowledging them after scoring for the Canaries.
Graham Dorrans scored Norwich's second at United, as Neil Redfearn's men suffered their fourth defeat in four since assistant manager Steve Thompson was suspended.
The Leeds boss was delighted with his side's performance, however, admitting they were simply up against a better team.
And it was a team with a certain Howson, who had to be the one to score. With his classy gesture, though, he showed all is still well when it comes to his connection with his former club. Other professionals would do well to take note!
