The Leeds boss gave his verdict on the midfielder...
Leeds made it four defeats in four since assistant manager Steve Thompson was suspended at Elland Road as promotion-chasing Norwich City beat the Yorkshire side 2-0 in the Championship.
Former Leeds star Johnny Howson was among the scorers, piling on the misery for Redfearn's men.
But the head coach still found cause for joy, focusing on Ngoyi's debut for Leeds against the Canaries.
The midfielder has struggled desperately for fitness since joining the club on loan in January and had to wait months and months to put on the shirt.
Once he had done so, however, Redfearn was delighted with his contribution, suggesting he looked the part as he broke up play in the middle.
Redfearn felt Ngoyi "looked the part" on his debut: "He broke play up. I thought the midfield did well tonight." #lufc— Leeds United FC (@LUFC) April 14, 2015
Could Ngoyi have a future at Leeds after all?
Leeds need to keep hold of anything positive at Elland Road at the moment, although one performance doesn't change the fact that the midfielder has suffered a string of injury problems.
As for the first team as a whole, it's a testing time indeed right now...
