The Ivorian came in for heavy criticism after the loss to Manchester United, and these stats show it's deserved.
The Ivorian was attacked from all angles after the 4-2 loss on Sunday afternoon in what was another disappointing defeat for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
City have now lost six of their last eight games, falling from second in the Premier League table to fourth, with potential Champions League qualification still in the balance.
Several of their stars have come in for criticism, with Toure in particular a focus of complaints, and his stats from yesterday’s game will not help his cause.
The midfielder has been well known for his goal scoring ability over the years, but had just two attempts against United, with neither of them on target. He also managed just one attempted assist in a 90-minute display.
Elsewhere, he lost possession 10 times as he failed to help his side maintain the ball and try to get back into the game. Having said that, he had a total of 44 passes in the game, 36 of which were accurate, a 75% success rate.
Toure's tackling was also at a shocking low, with him having attempted just one tackle throughout the game, and failing to win that as well.
A disappointing all round midfield display from Toure then, who, based on these statistics, is deserving of the criticism coming his way.
