Queens Park Rangers failed to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Sunday, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at home.
Chris Ramsey’s side headed into the clash at Loftus Road on the back of a 3-3 draw with Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park.
It was always going to be tough for Rangers to beat leaders Chelsea, but they almost snatched a point.
An 88th-minute goal from former Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas proved to be the difference between the two sides in the London derby.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, QPR had 40% of the possession, took 15 shots of which four were on target, and earned five corners.
The defeat means that QPR remain third from bottom in the Premier League table with 26 points from 33 matches, two points behind 17th-placed Hull City having played a game more.
Following the defeat, QPR fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of the team and the final result.

Can't wait to get back to London and home to Loftus Road. Relegation or not we need to ensure the soul of the club remains intact #QPR— Flo Lloyd-Hughes (@FloydTweet) April 12, 2015
@QPRFC It's hard to believe that a team that cannily that well might not be in the Premiership next season.— Pavonefan (@Pavonefan) April 12, 2015
