Jason Denayer has told Celtic's official site that the highlight of his time at Parkhead so far has been the 3-3 draw with Inter Milan.
Celtic drew Inter in the Europa League and they gave the Italian giants a real scare with their performances across both legs, but ultimately lost 4-3 on aggregate.
The Bhoys put up a valiant fight and their spirit was highlighted in the first leg when they fought back from 2-0 down to claim a 3-3 draw against Inter.
“My highlight so far was the game against Inter,” he said. “It was a very good match and the supporters were amazing that night.
“It will be good to go back and play at Celtic Park in front of our great fans, and it’s been amazing playing in front of them this season.”
Although Celtic were not able to win the tie, it shows just how special European nights at Parkhead can be and the hope is that next season they will make a even better progress in non-domestic competition.
Celtic crashed out of the Champions League in the qualifying stage this season and Ronny Deila will know that they need to make the group stage next term.
It remains to be seen whether Denayer will be part of those attempts, as his loan spell from Manchester City expires in the summer, but Celtic fans will be hoping that he is.
Denayer has been sensational during the season so far and he has become a key part of Celtic's team, which looks in which a chance of claiming the domestic treble.
