Chelsea inched closer to the Premier League title as they got the better of Queens Park Rangers 1-0 away from home on Sunday.
The Blues were expected to win the London derby at Loftus Road with ease, but they had to rely on a late goal from former Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas to pick up the three points.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, Jose Mourinho’s side had 60% of the possession, took nine shots of which only one was on target, and earned six corners.
The London derby triumph means that Chelsea are now seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a game in hand.
The Blues have collected 73 points from 31 matches, while their nearest challengers Arsenal have picked up 66 points from 32 games.
There is a chance that the Gunners could make a late challenge for the Premier League title, but the Chelsea fans are not worried, as they made it clear on social networking site Twitter.
First of all it was City title challengers, then Arsenal and now it's United. Bring them all on I say #CFC— Willy Stark (@iam_vishalsingh) April 12, 2015
The beauty of that win was you just know so many Arsenal fans thought they were well in with a shout of the title. They weren't. #CFC— George Starkey-Midha (@GStarkeyMidha) April 12, 2015
