Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in Hibernian’s victory over Hearts in the Edinburgh derby on Sunday.
Hibernian got the better of their fierce rivals 2-0 at Easter Road to remain second in the Scottish Championship table.
Jason Cummings’s finish from close range on the half-hour mark put Hibs in the lead, and in injury time Farid El Alagui made it 2-0.
Hearts have already won the Championship title and have gained automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership, so the result did not affect them much.
However, all Hibernian fans will be proud to have defeated their city-rivals and remain second in the standings.
Celtic star Griffiths was watching the Edinburgh derby, and it was clear from his posts on Twitter which club he was cheering for.
The 24-year-old Scotland international striker had also positive words for Hibernian’s second goalscorer El Alagui.

Hibernian are currently second in the Scottish Championship table with 61 points from 33 matches.
Scottish giants Rangers are level on points with Hibs but behind on goal difference, although the third-placed Gers do have a game in hand.
